"A Calm Chaos" by Peycho Kanev
A Calm Chaos
An anti-bird flies through the black sky above
the dark waters and then disappears. I walk back
home through the obscure woods.
The shore shimmers like a sharpened sickle underneath
the round moon. What do I see in this darkness?
Fireflies clove the air like comets in front of me and
turn it into milk. The wind goes wild and the trees wave
goodbye to me and to the unknown shadow that slowly lurks
behind me. I throw seven stones at his shadow to keep him
at bay. He throws them back at me.
